Hend Saeed

is a Literary Agent & Consultant, Literary Translator, Literary Program Curator, writer, editor, moderator and interviewer. She is a sub-agent for University of Queensland Publication (Arabic rights) and editor-at-large for Arablit.org.

As a Literary Agent, she represents publishers as well as writers in other markets and as a consultant she helps the new writers to develop their skills and to get published.

Being a Reiki Master practitioner and mbraining Coach and Practitioner and loving Your Life Facilitator helped her to combine these learning with writing and creating a series of workshops that helps the writers to develop their skills and the Reading, Writing and Life Program.

She published short stories collections and regularly contributes to a number of publications in Arabic and English in writing articles, literaty translation, interviews and book reviews. Worked as moderator in the last three Emirates Airline Festival of Literature.

She was born in Baghdad- Iraq and graduated with BA in Translation from al-Mustansiriya University in Baghdad.She left Iraq after the Gulf war and since then has lived in Jordan, Yemen, New Zealand , Australia and UAE. Currently she lives between Dubai and Melbourne.

During these years she achieved more studies and worked in different jobs, fields and cities, from translation, interpreting ,working with refugees, Travel industry to banking to insurance and with her last job as Program Manager at Dubai writer’s Center and then Arabic Program Manager at Emirates Airline Festival of Literature .

She also took a number of writing workshops with well-known Australian writers as Arab writers as well as UAEBBY writing workshops
